*New Taylor Swift BOP Alert*
Just days before the release of her first re-recorded album, “Fearless: Taylor’s Version” Miss Swift surprise released a new song from the vault, “Mr. Perfectly Fine.”
The song shot to number one on the iTunes chart, where it became her 48th song to go number one, which is the most among any artist in history. Who’s surprised??
“Mr Perfectly Fine” is an unreleased song from Swift’s 2008 album, Fearless. As you may remember, that was around the time she dated Joe Jonas and more importantly was broken up with by him – which then led to Taylor writing some amazing songs about their relationship. I’m looking at you “Forever and Always.”
This knowledge and a good listen to the lyrics of the new song led fans to speculate that the song is in fact about Joe Jonas, and I have to say I definitely agree.
